Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing (DISH) has been a trailblazer in the supportive housing sector in San Francisco since 2006. Committed to providing high quality, permanent supportive housing for residents who suffer serious health issues, DISH stands as a unique organization dedicated to creating positive change in our community.

We are on the lookout for a visionary individual to become our first Chief Financial Officer. DISH began operations with a fiscal sponsor, and are now transitioning to an independent 501c3. We’re not just looking for an experienced CFO; we’re seeking someone with a heart for the underserved communities and ready to lead the charge in revolutionizing financial practices in the non-profit sector.

The ideal candidate will:

· Be an executive with the skills to create a new finance department in the non-profit landscape

· Embody leadership qualities that foster a culture of respect, dignity and love for one another including our resident community

· Understand the profound connection between homelessness and systemic racism, and be dedicated to eliminating barriers thereby promoting healing in our community

· An individual passionate to positively impact the society we live in

What you will work with:

· A dedicated leadership team that practices simple kindness, fair and equitable treatment of staff and residents

· An annual budget of $15 million with four government contracts and growing private support

· Nine properties that provide supportive housing for approximately 800 formerly unhoused residents

· Currently 94 employees

· Partnerships with San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH), primary funder and services partnerships with Episcopal Community Services (ECS), UCSF Citywide, and Compass Family Services

· The opportunity to be a leader in the transition of DISH into an independent 501(c)(3) organization
