The Inner City Education Foundation (ICEF) Public Schools, a trailblazing nonprofit charter school network, seeks a dynamic, proven leader and strong administrator to guide the organization through a pivotal transformation phase following a robust strategic planning process that has redefined ICEF’s mission, vision for impact, and brand identity.

Description
The CEO position offers a unique opportunity to lead, inspire, and transform a vibrant network encompassing one high school, two middle schools, and four elementary schools. These schools are renowned for their comprehensive academic, athletic, arts, cultural, and social enrichment programs aimed at a diverse population of students of color. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide visionary leadership, adept management, and strategic oversight for ICEF’s dedicated staff and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Visioning: Drive mission, policy, and planning initiatives.
  • Enhancing Academic Performance: Elevate academic standards and outcomes.
  • Organizational Development: Ensure appropriate administrative and organizational structures to support academic excellence, including student and staff retention, increased enrollment, and improved test results.
  • Board Engagement: Foster strong relationships and collaboration with the Board of Directors.
  • Financial Stability: Secure and manage financial resources for sustainable growth.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: Cultivate meaningful community connections and partnerships.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field. A master's degree is preferred. A doctorate degree is desirable;10-15+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a similar educational organization; Teaching experience coupled with administrative expertise as a school site leader and/or central office executive.

Compensation Range
$245,000.00 - $315,000.00 annually, plus benefits including a multi-year employment contract.
