We are hiring a Human Resources Manager to join our team of Directors at Harmony Hill School in Chepachet, RI.

Harmony Hill School is a private, non-profit, day and residential mental health facility offering comprehensive clinical services to male youth aged 8-18 struggling with some of life’s many challenges.

Job Overview
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the full employee life cycle from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to address HR-related issues and provide strategic guidance
  • Utilize systems for data management and reporting of information for the AA program.

Nurture a positive working environment

  • Successfully manage employee relations issues working with the appropriate level of management.
  • Monitors workers compensation program.
  • Maintain positive relations with all vendors.
  • Manage the completion of audits, surveys, OSHA filing, I-9’s and AA data.
  • Ensure effective human resources management practices are in place

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must be well versed in Rhode Island state as well as federal employment laws, including workers compensation, labor laws, ADA, COBRA, FMLA, ADEA, TDI, HIPAA and must ensure agency policies comply with federal and state employment laws.

Qualified candidates also possess:

· Bachelor of Science (graduate degree preferred) and certification in Human Resources Management preferred as well as a minimum of 5 years’ Human Resources experience

· . Proven experience in human resources management.

· Full service recruitment and onboarding experience.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be detail oriented and organized.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

· Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes

· Experience in senior leadership collaboration

· Knowledge of change management principles and practices
