Duties
Are you Wilder's next Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager? This role provides coordination and leadership to Wilder’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. Working with Executive leadership, the DEI Manager implements strategies, initiatives, and action plans that align with Wilder’s whole family approach and DEI goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to Wilder’s Diversity, Inclusion and Equity (WIDE) council and employee resource groups; engage staff and executive leadership to vision and role and structure for these teams, and encouraging their active participation in promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization.
- Advance efforts related to engagement and use of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and its integration with Wilder strategy. Provide guidance and support to Wilder’s IDI Qualified Administrator team and support staff around intercultural development goals.
- Working with operations, HR and IT teams, establish and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of DEI programs and initiatives, creating meaningful approaches to measure our efforts and accountability, and regularly assessing progress and making data driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Human Resources around integration of DEI principles with recruitment, onboarding, career development and total rewards.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Program/Department leaders and Human Resources to conduct training to raise awareness and enhance understanding of DEI and its integration with the whole family approach. This includes implementing trainings or learning experiences that strengthen supervisory and management practice related to DEI.
- Collaborate with Communications department to raise awareness of DEI efforts and celebrate DEI achievements. Update information on website, intranet, and in other communications vehicles and forums.
- Act as a liaison with external organizations and communities to enhance partnerships and collaborate on community DEI initiatives; serve on external committees or task forces related to DEI.
- Work with VP of Strategy and Executive Leadership on alignment of DEI vision with Wilder strategy; articulate overall goals.
- Assess Wilder’s external presence and positioning of DEI, including historical considerations, current impact and future vision.
- Working with VP of Strategy and Executive leadership, participate in key strategic initiatives to advance a DEI lens.
- Interface with the Board of Directors around DEI efforts, and be available to consult with them around DEI skill development or integration of DEI considerations with Board processes.
This role will be hybrid requiring some in-person meetings and engagement. In addition there will be some evening and weekend in-person work based on community events and program engagements.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Social Sciences.
- 5 to 10 years of demonstrated work experience as a DEI Manager, Diversity Officer or similar role with a focus on leading/implementing successful DEI strategies and programs.
