POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the following functions: All human resources responsibilities including but not limited to recruitment, retention, hiring/terminations, vetting, onboarding, training, benefit enrollment, and payroll.

1. Responsible for setting up new hires in payroll system as well as managing payroll.

2. Support of benefits and payroll-related questions and needs.

3. Manage all HR Functions – recruiting, vetting, onboarding, training, surveys, benefit enrollment, retention, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc.

4. Ensure timely and accurate processing, posting, and recording of all relevant financial transactions to the general ledger.

5. Partners with Finance Director and Executive Leadership to support company culture, vision, growth initiatives.

6. Complies with federal, state and local human resources laws.

7. Develops organizational people strategies by identifying and implementing human resources best practices in planning and organizational design.

8. Develops and implements programs to enhance team member engagement and satisfaction consistent with the organization’s values and strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence

1. Provides performance management guidance to leadership on coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.

2. Responsible for the development of human resources policies and forms as appropriate while ensuring compliance with federal and local employment laws and regulations.

3. Ensures organizational charts, reporting relationships structures, position titles, and position descriptions are up to date.

4. Administers the performance evaluation process and compensation programs to ensure competitive wages within the marketplace.

5. Ensure and uphold the confidentially requirements associated with the human resource manager position.

Relationship Management

1. Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the organization.

Leadership and Supervision

1. Implement and uphold all policies of the organization and ensure that all operations are consistent with the stated mission and direction set forth by the Board of Directors.

2. Ensure compliance and attention to all corporate policies and procedures.

PRIMARY TASKS AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for all duties associated with payroll, benefits, vetting, onboarding, recruitment, retention, evaluations, and training.
  • Day-to-day HR functions, filing, reporting, and enrollment. Screening of applicants resumes and scheduling interviews with management. Verification of previous employment.

  • Ability to provide high level of personal direction, leadership and coaching to management and team members.

  • Experience with benefits administration.
  • Experience with payroll.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal savvy and influence skills with the organization’s leaders and team members.
  • Ability to communicate throughout all levels regularly and effectively within the organization in written, verbal, and presentation formats.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education

· Associates or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field.

Experience

· Experience in Employment Law, Compensation, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations, or a combination thereof.

· Prior supervisory experience required.

· Demonstrated high level of communication and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)
